They were a wonderful Christmas gift last year and I've been too afraid to use them until now!!

 
For once, it was really nice to watch an anime where the characters had very English names. Names such as "Pride", "Gluttony", "Scar", "Envy" (etc.) might not be understood properly by non-English audiences (even though the names were explained by the Japanese version! I prefer the Japanese dub!) and it makes me wonder that that's probably the same with me when I watch anime where the characters have Japanese names. My Japanese teacher told me that there are names that I would translate as "Mountain Field [Yamada]" even though they themselves consider it just a name- just as she sometimes translates the surname "Johnson" as "John's Son". I think there's a language barrier where foreign people sometimes don't realise that a character's name has been chosen specifically and not because it sounds good xD
Anyway, enough of my ranting!
